Our girls 3/4 comp basketball team flew to Sitka from Fairbanks for the 3 day Hoops and Herring Tourney. The staff made sure to have our team rooms placed together for the ease of it. Rooms were clean and spacious enough for our rowdy group of 10 girls. It’s not the fanciest hotel on the block, but the staff.. OUT DID THEMSELVES 👏🏼👏🏼 from allowing our team to wash to their stinky uniforms to the extreme generosity they brought for allowing our champions to check out later than usual! The Alaska Lady Rebels will continue to support Baranof Lodge when we return for next years tournament!! Roomy, clean and convenient location!

Perfect spot downtown with lovely people! Super friendly and hospitable. I enjoyed my stay. Very neat and organized! They have wine now, too. I'm grateful to have met the owners!

As a researcher for the university of alaska and member of an international entity, I find the quality of service is found in how hosts treat their guests. Baranof Lodge has shown through staff and community that they have an exemplary courtesy and professionalism I find comforting. I would certainly enjoy another stay in future conferences and science research trips. From to my room assistance and making coffee late nights for my taste, I would recommend this to my colleagues globally as a home feeling presence. Kudos.

The location was fine Basically had to find everything ourselves from coffee filters to the milk… there wasn’t enough for all the guests with no one around to ask for replacement la .. gad to make the coffee ourselves.. paper plates .. for the room price it was dreadful.
